As a newly registered charity Pass It On has launched its own Just Giving page, and donations have got off to a flying start.
‘In only a few weeks we’ve raised over £8,000 from Just Giving donations alone,’ says campaign coordinator Rachael Stewart-Davis. ‘Cash funding is vital if we’re to expand our activities from distributing pre-loved items to wider care packages and wellbeing support.’
This winter, we’ve been preparing care packages that include a mix of donated clothing as well as toiletries, food, and sanitary items. ‘The cash we raise will all be used to increase the quality of the support packages we can offer, says Rachael. ‘We’re so grateful for all the contributions that our fantastic supporters have made – it makes a huge difference and it really does go directly to those in need.’
JustGiving allows us to collect the monetary donations we need to provide the new items homeless people need, for example, food, drinks, toiletries, and sanitary items. During our Winter campaign, we were able to distribute over 500 Pass It On care packs, including over 4,000 items to the homeless and most vulnerable across the UK.
If you’d like to contribute directly go to our Just Giving page and remember if you’d like to raise funds on our behalf it’s simple to set up your own JustGiving page too. This way you can keep track of your progress, promote your fundraising activities, and work towards your fundraising goal. All the details you will need are below.
