The London-based, non-profit organisation specialises in manufacturing portable shelters for rough sleepers, consisting of high-performance sleeping bags which are waterproof, weatherproof and heavily-insulated, with a built-in large tented hood and mattress.

What sets SheltersuitUK apart is their commitment to sustainability, as the high-performance Shelterbags are manufactured using waste materials from the fabric or outdoor industry. These include materials which may have been produced in excess or may be unfit for its original purpose.

Additionally, the organisation believes in making a social impact; employing only ex refugees who may not be able to find work; providing their initial stepping stone to the UK employment market.

SheltersuitUK works alongside other charities, organisations and agencies across London and spanning the UK, donating shelter bags to like-minded organisations, like Pass It On, who are able to assist with distribution.
