Our work at Pass It On wouldn’t be possible without the dedication of our incredible volunteers. This month are we are shining the spotlight on the wonderful Victoria McRae who has been joining our streetwalks in Liverpool and Manchester for the last 4 years. Come rain or shine, Victoria is a dependable volunteer who selflessly gives up her own time to help those less fortunate than herself.

How long have you been volunteering for Pass It On?

• Since joining Smiths in May 2021

How did you come across Pass It On?

• I became aware of PIO via Smiths, a colleague mentioned it & asked if I would like to volunteer. I wanted to help & learn more about PIO, so I joined the Liverpool/Manchester walks and have done so ever since.

What motivates you to volunteer with Pass It On?

• Homelessness is a growing problem, so if we all do what we can, it all adds up.

What’s your favourite thing about volunteering?

• My favourite part is seeing the immediate difference we can make- whether it’s providing essentials, a hot cup of coffee or just sharing a conversation.
